I am completely in love with this artist. She has a deep, rich, resonant voice. Her voice is rich and strong, and her sound is a soulful motown/rock sound. She is very diverse in her ability, from Country strains, to pop, rock, bluegrass etc. I just love when she taps into this warm, deep, rich soulfull music. I would love to see her cover more soul songs, if only for my personal enjoyment. By the way, this song, is exquisite lyrically and in it's deliverance!

I think the song is about someone watching his or her daughter grow up. I don't know if she has a daughter but its really a great song!
