Eirina - I lost my husband and feel a real affinity for this song as well. My marriage lasted 46 years, but it was still not long enough. I loved him so much. I have been trying to find the karaoke cd of this song, but it just doesn't seem to be available. I want to record this song to cd, and place it where he now lies. Another copy would go in a Tribute Album I am creating for him. "In the day" I was a professional singer and he always asked me to record a cd, but time ran out on us. The lyrics are just perfect.I'm so sorry for your loss Eirina. Mine was just two years ago and it's devastating. The pain never seems to leave. I hope time will help ease your grief - but when you share a love as deep as mine was with my Bob and, apparently, yours with your John - you never forget.
