Ah, he came to my school and told us about this song, it's about his sister. When she was young and her mom was in jail, she was forced to marry someone who beat her. One day he was in his car and she called him saying that he was back the guy she was forced to marry. he asked her if there was anything he could do to help her, she said "no, I just wish he'd stay gone." then she hung up. He couldn't get those words out of his mind and he got an idea for the song.
