Does anybody remember this awesome singer...Jimmy Donley (August 17, 1929 - March 20, 1963)[1] was an American singer-songwriter.James Kenneth Donley, a native of Gulfport, Mississippi,[1] began his musical career playing in local bars. He served briefly in the Army before being discharged on psychological grounds, then revived his musical career.Donley wrote many songs, such as "Born To Be A Loser", that went on to be hits by other artists, including Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis.[1] Some of his songs were credited to Rev. J. Charles Jessup, a preacher to whom Donley sold the rights to his output.[2]Married six times, and prone to bouts of both heavy drinking and domestic violence, Donley saw his musical career decline in the early 1960s. At the age of 33, he committed suicide,[1] by asphyxiating himself with his car's exhaust fumes.

You already know that irksome occasion when your brother (who’s been a loser always) gets an amazing woman to fall for him in like a couple of weeks?! Yep, that happened. I am aware that I ought to be happy even so I would rather it to be me. He explained he applied the the Cupid Love System (Google it). I wanna hide out inside of a cave right now...

I was in high school when this record came out and the first time I heard it, it blew me away! I thought it was the most awesome single ever! I even lip-synched this record at the Christmas show we had at my high school ever year. I did this one when I was a sophomore. I really worked it with my dancing talents. I did several rockabilly singles while in school. Dale Hawkins, Eddie Cochran, and I even lip-synched "Diddy-Wah-Diddy" that Bo Diddley put out. I had a ball doing these.
