All of Jimmy's songs are great. Some of them are more popular, others are less popular but the bedrock of all his songs is excellent use of language, phrasing, syntax, etc.. Jimmy is a master communicator of the written, spoken and lyrical word. Read the books he has written and the books his friends have written (namely Tom McGuane and Jim Harrison) and you will uncover serious writing talent. I have never heard him say this but I suspect that if you asked him, Jimmy would agree with Barry Hannah's take that his love of literature and sense of language started with his reading the Bible as a child. Whether fact, fiction or some of both, the Bible is an incredible literary work. Jimmy is a writer in musician's clothing.

So I realize part of the song skips. I'll try to find a better version of the audio and re-upload it. I hope this doesn't bother people too much; I would've fixed it sooner, but it's kind of hard to upload some of Jimmy's stuff to Youtube because the audio is blocked or the videos get deleted.
