Just recently became a Big Fan of JV. He definitely has his own sound which I would describe as " Texas Swing meets The Chicago Blues " . His music has a nostalgic old school flavor to it which I love . The guy is just plain Cool !

U remind me of "is this cute little liar the next fox news host?" A couple of comments down, it clearly says "comment removed," but you still want to act like it's not true. God, a 12 year old would be mature enough to admit this. After briefly looking at your profile, it appears anyone who disagrees you doesn't know a thing about music. Or anyone who disagrees with you deserves obnoxious and sometimes racial abuse. I think I speak for everyone on this page when I say, Grow up or get lost.

I don't know, I think his greatest line was when he was trying to offend me "you act like your opinion means jack shit, when it doesn't."

I can just see kentron8000 (uploader) going, "Hmm, a flurry of activity over on the Finland site. People must really be enjoying Jimmie's playing! Lessee now .... !!WTF!!???

Holy shit, Barry! I know you're replying to attituderoyale, but I just have to say that I see I've got you all wrong. I thought you were some loud-mouthed idiot, but you're really here to do a stand-up routine. Two great lines in there: "You'll look back on whatever I've said ... " like you don't actually know what it was that you said, and "until then you need to learn some humility ... " That, young Barry, is pure comedy gold!!

Uh, I removed my comment? Listen to me loud and clear, I am not in the wrong. You just suck at guitar too much to know that right now. You will look back on whatever I've said today one day when you're good enough, until then you need to learn some humility and not talk about things you have no idea about. That's it though, this is getting way boring. I'm done replying.

By removing your comment, I can only assume you knew you were wrong or talking shit. It's a shame you're not man enough to admit it in writing.

"To their name!!" You really seem to think you're on the brink of critical success as a guitarist. Just because someone doesn't put up videos of them playing doesn't mean it's proof that they can't play. And if you want me to reverse that, you talk a lot of shit for someone who's individual guitar video has received only 18 views and 1 like. You're the fat one right?!

I'm thinking you spend a lot of your time feeling baffled.

lol @ junior guitarist. You talk a lot of shit for somebody who has no videos to their name.

lol. That song is in E. That just means you'll have to improv in E. How do I know this? Because I've done it. I'm done arguing with your dumbass. One day, you will learn your pentatonics, minor, and major scales ~ the most basic ones. And when you're good enough, you'll look back on this moment and understand what I was trying to say. Unless, you want to play like Jim Vaughn in which case, you should just quit playing music entirely. Peace, I'm done arguing with your dumb ass.

You're starting to sound like a 16 year old kid or a grown man with a 16 year old's intellect. If you can't explain your point without offending a person's family, who you know nothing about, you need to think twice before you start posting. Practising ahead doesn't mean playing every solo, note for note. You're starting to sound like your stuck in that junior guitarist phase where you learn a couple of solos, but you're too immature to understand the difference between quality and preference.

You idiot, this is exactly why you shouldn't talk about shit you have no clue about. I've seen the video where he talks about his 10 hour workouts. He doesn't mean he practices 10 hours before a show you fucking moron ROFL. Those are just a collection of practices / fret runs he used to do in a day which in total took 10 hours. This was before he went to fucking Berkley. Anything else I can clear up for you? I've seen your video- "this is the high e string" bullshit. You don't know shit clearly.

Finally, incase you didn't notice, "La Grange," isn't a traditional blues song so it doesn't have the predictable 12 bar progression that allows most guitarists to improvise. So it makes all the more sense to practice ahead for that particular song. The fact is YOU NEVER know what a guitarist did before he/she does a show, whether it's blues, rock, funk, jazz; you can only suspect and if you want to dispute that statement be my guest but you'll sound like a kid.

And this is coming from a guy who thinks the majority of people can play like Clapton after 4 years? You're saying that unless a solo is note-for-note as it is on the record, the guitarist didn't practice before hand. Are you an idiot or are you too childish to admit that your statement isn't entirely correct. Let me school, now that you've been the offensive arrogant one, Steve Vai was notorious for practicing ahead of shows. He used to do 10 hour a day guitar work-outs.

No. Because the blues is about feel. Not about memorizing some shit before the show and then showing up pretending like you just pulled it out of your ass, like your mom does every night.
