One of the most beautiful songs ever written to the memory of someone's loved one. Jimi was so much more than the radio hits and as these wonderful videos on this channel show ; he was just hitting a amazing creative stride in 69-70 than he left us. One thing I would like to say is this channel is absolutely beautiful, spectacular, amazing or any other number of words denoting the fact it's a Virtual Treasure Trove of Rare Jimi Hendrix that almost no one has ever heard. inside look at "Pure Genius" Jimi never gave up on a song.. he let it grow in time in his mind and kept taking shota at recording it "re-listening, re-thinking" and then re-recording it.... he creative process was ongoing 24/7.. pure genius.. RIP10 years назад

I'd say Kramer, Allen (aka Aleem ) twins, Juma, Billy, Buddy, Mitch, David Henderson, have some of the best takes and most insight into JMH. There are others as well, but most of the analysis is rooted in cultural imperialism, which distorts and obscures the complete and whole nature of JMH as an artist and human being. The paradigm is slowly shifting and intelligent items such as this BTS entry are moving this long overdue process along.11 years назад

December 67...March 68...- I was born between these two dates :D and discovered Jimi at the age of 3 while being left home alone and listening to my parent's vinyls on a radiola lol - found one that completely mesmerised me and played it over and over again - it was Crosstown Traffic...it was a gate to the rest of my life.Now social services would step in and lock my parents up for leaving me alone and I'd grow up to be a politician or a big brother contestant ...Thank you Jimi IOU11 years назад
