This is one my all time favorite rock albums...all songs are great....it's only flaw is its too short! If he'd be doing only this sort stuff, I guess he might have made some money, but most people in indie rock, who'd love this could not follow him into the more obscure territories...

My first brush up with Jim was in 1992 with Gastr Del Sol, this work seems the inevitable conclusion brought forth by so much experimentalism, he returns to minimalism but with all the experience from so many years of doing the hard work of being unrecognized for daring to confound expectations. I suspected he was capable of far more than radio static and Fahey riffs and he proves it more or less here.

I love this friggin song. Jim o rourke is probly the most underrated musician ever. I found out about him by pure accident and coincidence and am thankful for it.

i read it as "one of the most underrated [new musicians] out there". the "new" modifying "music", not "Jim O'Rourke", as in "one of the most underrated producers of new music". in which case, the comment is totally valid.

I first heard of Jim from his production on some of my favorite Smog CD's, such as Red Apple Falls and Knock Knock. Parts of this sounds like something from Knock Knock. I like it.
