Jim did the vocals alone in Paris & had musicians add sax, congas, bass, & wind chimes. After he died, Pam sold the tape to a producer, who then had Cher sing the lyrics, & dropped Jim’s vocals out of the mix. Elektra sued for possession of the original tapes & blocked release of Cher's version. The remaining Doors added their parts & deleted the sax, congas, etc. That's what this is. There's another mix w/ all the instruments, & one w/ Cher, but they’re hard to find. I'll pay top dollar for 'em

This is so bizar.In july 1991 I sang and recorded my first song with just a bassplayer and this song(besides the incredible similarity in voice)is quite similar and as a joke I told a big Doors fan that it was a Jim Morrison bootleg and he actually thought it was Jim singing.I called it:The Lost Tape of Jim Morrison.How many coincedences can one handle??!
