Here's one by request ... I've received several emails from people asking me if I've ever done a recording or video of "A Way To Survive" and I have one from back when I was working with Whatta Band. As a fun thing a steel player friend of mine suggested I include some candid "survival" photos from gigs and jam sessions in the slide show to go along with the song title. So, here it is (by request), "A Way To Survive".

Thanks, Bernie. Yep, that's me playing it. We were at a place called the Ship Ashore Resort in Smith River CA and it was, as I recall, 1989. The band was called Whatta Band and it was one of my favorite groups I've ever worked with. :-) Thanks again most sincerely. -- Jim15 years назад

Jim : Is that you playing " A Way To Survive "? A really great version of the song , indeed.One of my favorite steel numbers.. Makes me think of PaPa John ; surely miss him so much..
