Jim Eanes

This song was written by Rex Griffin after his wife Margaret left him and recorded it in 1939. I don't think Jim ever recorded it himself but he liked the song and performed it many times. Thanks for the comment Henry! I am not sure if he sang something about a storm. Could ytou remember something more about the song you mean, maybe I know & remember then. Thanks for the positive comments! I think that Jim Eanes was a wonderful guy and a still very underrated singer and songwriter. He picked up emotions from others very well and had a way to express them in his songwriting and singing as well as in his behavior and communication (verbal and non-verbal) towards others. I am proud to have known him and to haven been able to play with him and spend time with him while over in Europe. Luckily I had these recodings of him to share with you.
