I think vocally Jo-jo's is better, but in terms of lyrics Jhene's is better. She twists the whole song up in terms of point of view. In the other songs (both Jo-jo and Drake) they argue "I'm just saying you could do better," essentially saying that they are better but what they mean to say is that they miss that person and they want to be with them again, but they aren't honest with themselves that they might've fucked up. This song, she admits the truth that she got caught up in having fun and fucked up so she's saying that she wants to be better. I think it's deep.
