My favorite era of Jethro Tull includes the CDS:

- This Was, 1968

- Stand Up, 1969

- Benefit, 1970

- Aqualung, 1971

- Thick as a Brick, 1972

- Living in the Past

- A Passion Play, 1973

- Warchild, 1974

- Minstrel in the Gallery, 1975

- Too Old to Rock n Roll, Too Young to Die, 1976

- Songs From the Wood

If you are new to Jethro Tull and have enjoyed watching all the progressive rock clips that you see on youtube I suggest that you go out and buy these CDs. They are from Jethro Tull's prime and I think you would enjoy them.

GRAN BANDA. Todos se lucían: Barriemore Barlow en el glockenspiel y John Evan con acordeón y luego dando una mano en batería. Impresionante.

These guys were so unpretentious and this made them so attractive unlike the manufactured garbage you get now. This just reflects what obviously was such a happy time. Unfortunately, tragic times followed....

It's funny how Ian never considered himself a guitarist, and while he doesn't play leads, his playing is very, very proficient...especially while singing

having fun or not, Tull has been the soundtrack to my life...."looking for a sign that the universal mind, has written you into the passion play"..does it get much better?

Look at Ian's face here, and when he plays early on in his career, he is having such fun, he actually smiles. You never see Ian smile anymore, from about the mid-80's on it's all business, and he never seems to be enjoying himself or acting happy.

unfortunately, I have gotten away from Jethro Tull's music for awhile now but I have to say Ian Anderson has to go down as one of the most charismatic and talented musicians in R&R. The ultimate showman.

Hitchhiked 50 miles with my boyfriend to see the Too Old to Rock n Roll Too Young To Die for my very first concert in Missoula, Montana. Got picked up by a friend of my mom's, and got grounded for a month afterward. I never regretted it for a moment, and it remains one of the highlights of my life!

Very true that, and Ian would be the first to agree. Because he's like that and gives huge credit to 'the guys'.
