My first big boy concert was Jethro Tull in the Greensboro Coliseum in 1973. He was phenomenal.. We were just lint haired mill hands. First, great great music of course. All are right, who say, that "Cheap Day Return" is most underrated. Now to rabi - considering that your question was serious. In this song Ian describes a moment on a railway station when returning from his ill father lying in hospital. The nurse caring for him asked Ian for an autograph. As he sings that he is sadly wondering, he seemed not to be to happy with the situarion, because of the sorrow for his father. Another song about that personal theme is "Nursie" ''wondring aloud has in my eyes one of the greatest lines in rock history "Its only the giving that makes you what you are"

Tull at their best were as good as anyone, and this is definitely Tull at their best!

Another piece by Jethro Tull that would fit this set is "March the Mad Scientist". Tull created a sound, particularly in their acoustic guitar based songs, that was nothing short of magical. Their music transports me still.
