I didn't see the movie, but when I listen to this masterpiece, I think of Cormac McCarthy, James Lee Burke and many others...

Ford killed what was just a MORTAL man and unwillingly created one of the biggest IMMORTAL legends that ever existed. Jesse James became the "Robin Hood of the New World" (...but only after his death!), while Rob Ford became the archetypal "RAT"! :D  - the "first "original rat" - the "backstabber pàr excellànce". It's no case, that men like Jimmy "the Gent" Burke (and many others) used to name their own sons with names like "Frank & Jesse", etc., etc. Personally I think that the way Jesse died, gave a sort of a "big boost" to his afterlife Glory (...and a Glory with a major "G"!). To sum it up... - I'll just quote what I heard in one of the many documentaries about the James boys: "It is remarkable that during his lifetime Jesse James was the symbol of what DIVIDED US (Americans), while in Death he became a symbol of what UNITES US ALL." Now! - who does remember who REALLY Jesse was? Who does even care about "what kind of a man was he truly like"? (...him or Robert Ford, for what it matters...), when his "Myth" (or "Legend" if You people prefer) has a billion times stronger impact? ... PS. Big thanks for uploading. Extremely beautiful music, and a "once in a lifetime" movie! Andrew Dominik and Ron Hansen created a true, 100% pure masterpiece! Have a nice day everyone. ;)
