One in a series of videos filmed during Doyle Dyke's in-store performance on 7/11/12 at Austin Bazaar (Austin, Texas), presented by Guild Guitars as part of their Master Performance Series. In this video Doyle plays a modified double cutaway hollowbody Gretsch which originally belonged to Jerry Reed. Gretsch's Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Series is modeled after this guitar and other '60s hollowbody models.

My opinion is that Doyle is the greatest finger pick guitarist alive, and generally one of the greatest living guitarists, period. The tone coming from that Jerry Reed Country Gentleman is otherworldly. Phenomenal playing and tone, continuing Chet's legacy. Thank You Doyle.7 years назад
