Love is so Precious as is life, I'm an old man but I remember back in early1970 I was dating a great girl. I was in the Navy and after my first leave, I broke up with her now as I listen to this great song and singer I think about her. She was killed in a car accident in 1990, I wonder if I didn't break up with her would she still be alive? I will never forget that day when I told her I was breaking up with her, she pleaded with me not to, it hurts me cause It might be my fault she is dead, I hope she can see this and forgive me, Only God knows the answer to it.

Thank you so much for posting this beautiful song.I must be honest, I had never heard it before it was used in the British drama "Call The Midwife." It is set in 1958, I loved the song from the moment I heard it, so happy I found it. This is a truly romantic song.
