I haven't seen the musical, but the original novel states that before the first murder, Jekyll enjoyed being Hyde. So, is there a relationship between that and the oddly Henry-sounding lines in this song?

Such as shame this singer didn't star in the Broadway show. He absolutely nailed the portrayal of the character. Also, this show has so many songs, such a great mood, and more thematic depth than many popular Broadway musicals. And yet this show doesn't receive as much attention, nor does it seem to have as many revivals. Is it too dark for some people? I did see the show just once in NYC in Summer '97, and sadly they cut out my top favorite song The World Has Gone Insane! But it's still a great show. (And "Alive" is also a fantastic song!)

I don't understand where in the story this is. Is this after he was with Lucy? Because he is singing about her again in this song. And what is he supposed to be doing in this song? Is he looking for her? To me it sounds like he is hunting something down. IDK?????????
