I remember buying this as a bit of a novelty in a record store bargain bin in the early eighties. Listening back now, I think it knocks spots off loads of other late seventies bands' output. Thinking about Boston in particular. Musicianship and songwriting is superb.

I absolutely loved this whole album "Freedom at Point Zero" as a teenager and listened over and over and over on my record player. I still can sing all the lyrics even after all these years!

This whole album is one of those "timeless" works that actually sets an unforgettable mood whenever listened to. This is also my favorite track off the album, followed closely by "Jane", "Things to Come", and "Awakening".

I love this song. Brings back so many memories. My neighbor and I would pull out one of his GIANT stereo speakers and put it on the roof outside of his bedroom, and "give the neighborhood a concert". It's a wonder we weren't arrested. Or perhaps just maybe, this song was just that epic.

This along with Supertramp's Breakfast in America were the albums that I listened to practically non-stop while living in Hatcher Hall Dorm at LSU in the fall of 1979. Still have my original vinyl copy.
