I love this rendition, the pace and acoustics are just beautiful..He worked his magic over this track, and his unique voice quality gives it a new dimension.

This is a pretty horrible cover and heaven knows he's making me miserable now. I get the ambiance effect he is going for with a drowned out minimalistic blurry vocals. Oh damn I guess I just needed to turn up the sound but still annoying. Jeff experiments with vocal stylings a little too much for my taste. I know he can sing better but what songs has he written to be so famous? Morrissey has written dozens of great songs .. even if you are not into the Smiths their greatness can't be denied.

He sounds like a drunk doing an impersonation of Morrissey. Awful.

If you like Indie music and underground artist, I suggest you to discover a new artist by writing *"Niko Laetailleurs"* in the you tube search bar (clearly Influenced by Jeff Buckley)

Yeah. It's from his Live In Chicago concert, and you can see that clip in the BBC documentary of Jeff. Peace.

criztafer was quoting Jeff Buckley. Buckley said this during one of his performances.

What a ridiculous thing to say. However if that's what you really think please do continue. It's not my mission or desire to disavow you of the beliefs that you hold.

Great quote and do you really need to say anything more then the Smiths? Pinnacle of Alt. Rock and have been huge part of my life ever since I found out about them as a teen. Johnny Marr's guitar playing alone should be studied in depth by musicians, simply ingenious. Ok I'm done gushing, cheers!

Bravo to Jeff Buckley for bestowing his unique brilliance upon the dreamy resilience of The Smiths!!! He could have been friends with Morrissey, I think...

Without the 50's 60's, 70's there wouldn't have been any 80's or Jeff Buckley. Artists like Hendrix, Nina Simone, Bob Dylan, T-Bone Walker, Taj Mahal, Albert King etc... were a tremendous inspiration to Buckley. Give those musician their props you can trace every great musician in the world back to some ding dong in a cave 5k years ago beating a rock on a log!

I understand she was trying pay tribute to someone she really admired, but just like no one will ever try to remake Silence of the Lambs, you can't redo perfection!
