Bassist is Randy Hope-Taylor, who was with UK funk/groove band Incognito...which for many years included the tremendous Richard Bailey on drums. Bailey, when only 17, played quite spectacularly on Beck's million+-selling classic, 'Blow by Blow', and album that forever transformed music by combining, funk/rock/jazz/fusion elements...and kicking most other guitars out of the park on every track. Check it out...'Blow by Blow'...and also its follow-up, 'Wired'.

I never saw this when it originally aired, but MY GOD, this clearly shows what sets Beck apart from everyone else. His tone, style, phrasing and actual playing transcend this hunk of wood we call the guitar. He's carved out some territory that is his and his alone. There is so much energy and musicality to what he does. The man's a global treasure.
