I am out of the LOOP! I too, think this band is phenomenal! I am VERY MUCH a "music person", and love all genre's of music. I have my favorites and bluegrass, folk, bluegrass gospel, classic rock, being at the top of my faves! Nickle Creek is by far, one of the MOST UNIQUE musicians I have ever heard and I love their music. I connect to their lyrics, their harmony, their style (in short). Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to see them LIVE! Why did they break up? WHY?

I too would give anything to learn to play the mandolin!!! I have wanted one for more than 20 years. I got one for Christmas in 2010. I have yet to learn to play. Life's circumstances have interfered with that wish. I tell myself I should just sell the mandolin. I just can't bring myself to selling it. I know I will regret it. Last night I was at a Beach Boys concert. I was hanging out in front of my Dad's trailer when I was approached by Bruce Johnston, a member who's known for writing songs like 'Good Vibrations' and 'Disney Girls'. I was shocked to find that such a legend in his genre would even talk to me. He was really nice, and he gave me all sorts of musical advice. He wanted me to hear this song, saying he had to stop on the side of the road when hearing it on the radio. And Bruce was right- its amazing.
