INXS named it "Rockstar: INXS" after I made up the song "Rockstar" which would be performed by Nickelback. I also overheard them talking about holding the competition at the Paramour Mansion and I named the band Paramore for the recording studio after I wrote "Decode".

I've worked with Spielberg, Tim Burton, John Hughes, and many others on film ideas, Michael Mann on Miami Vice, and Spelling on 90210, Melrose, etc. Heathers was inspired by Heather Locklear who started hanging around with Tom Cruise and later Tommy Lee.

@Angelo92248 JD was just a kid when INXS brought him to meet me in about '96. Hutch was about to bail on the band. I started writing songs for INXS when I was 15 in '83 and was involved with Hutch. The stagename for J.D. Fortune came from J.D. Salinger and the stagename Flame Fortune for the wannabe singer Michael Hutchence was trying to promote in the '80s.
