It was decided to name an artist Adele for Adele Island in Western Australia after I wrote Rolling in the Deep. Australia being the home of INXS. The song was written about my relationship with Michael Hutchence and "make your home down there" was a reference to Australia being called "Down Under"

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger was known for it's liberal use of profanity and portrayal of sexuality and teenage angst. It also deals with complex issues of identity, belonging, connection, and alienation. Both, Kurt and the artist who went by J.D. Fortune took on this persona.

The first song I co-wrote after Joe Elliott discovered me in May '83 was Pour Some Sugar On Me "Step inside, WALK THIS WAY" from Aerosmith's album Toys in the Attic. "I've got the peaches" is where Bob Geldof after meeting him when I was 16 decided to name daughter "Peaches". I wrote the song Hot Girls "And I watch her eat a peach" (not one of my best work but it was to tie into my other songs) performed by INXS2.

@HutchFan71 I'm not hiding behind quotes. The "quote" is an article which was released on Oct. 1, 1983, the day my grandmother lost her battle with Leukemia. It was a way of honoring her not only by me but the artists such as Evanescence, Madonna and INXS who perform the songs I wrote. As for tarnishing his memory, I actually want his memory restored to where it should be, not remembered as someone who had an affair with a married woman, not dying the way they said he did.

@Boddahism Right....sure. For someone who is such a successful songwriter, you spend a lot of time on You Tube. Did it ever occur to you that your little masquerade kind of tarnishes Hutch's memory? His life was tormented enough....he should be able to rest in peace without others taking credit for his accomplishments. Just something for you to think about.....

@HutchFan71 Granted, Hutch was very talented, but I did write songs for them. The meaning of Evanescence a band I named when 15 in 1983 is what inspired me to write the song "Disappear". Evanescence "The act or state of vanishing away; disappearance; as, the evanescence of vapor, of a dream, of earthly plans." I also wrote Original Sin and Devil Inside after Hutch would ask me what the sermon had been about at church on Sundays. It also inspired me to write "I Would Die 4 U".

@Boddahism You didn't name anyone....just like you didn't write any INXS songs. Michael was a very talented songwriter and musician and he wasn't in need of any help. As for the whole Rockstar INXS thing....it doesn't sit well with me. Trying to replace someone who passed away so tragically with a reality show contest is just tacky...but you pretending to be something you're not is really tacky too.

@MusicFanToo It is a stagename which I gave him for the female that Hutch was promoting in the '80s by the name of Flame Fortune. Her song "Sex Symbol" was written for her because Prince decided to change his name to a Symbol due to a conversation I had with him. I wrote songs for Prince's Purple Rain album and I wrote songs for INXS.

@HutchFan71 I see you are a fan and I'm glad for it. But, the whole thing with Rock Star INXS was a setup from the beginning. The outcome was alway going to be the singer who I gave the stagename "J.D. Fortune".

The stagename for J.D. Fortune came from J.D. Salinger and the stagename Flame Fortune for the wannabe singer Michael Hutchence was trying to promote in the '80s. I named the band Paramore for the Paramour Mansion recording studios after I wrote Decode and hearing the Farris Bros of INXS talking about holding the RockStar show there when Hutch decided to bail on the band. I came up with the stagename P!nk for Bob Geldof in The Wall. I wrote songs for INXS starting in '83
