My adopted grammie passed away about a month ago and she went on to live forever with Jesus. So as anyone can imagine it has been difficult with grieving but I am comforted that she is at peace and home..thats my only comfort. I find myself not wanting a lot of hustle and bustle just to be in quiet and peace. So I came across this song "accidentally" and it describes the season I am in.... for the longing of being still and being renewed with strength and saturated with peace. You would think that people would know or be sensitive to the fact that I am not in a place of wanting activities or being overly social. I find myself having to tell others no not now or that isn't what I need and if they can't understand then I can't help them see that I am no longer in a place of constant serving that I need a break to be restored and renewed like the eagle. When things change we have to change with it and cut off some old things...perhaps in time God will give me some prophetic insight from all of this. But during this sleepless night tonight and during the day where I long for solitude...this song brings His presence and the weight of rest and peace in which I drink from the river of holy spirit! Just wanted to share and I hope we and mr. Upton remains close to the father and the purity of the father son relationship is always at the forefront....stay His love.o
