"Whatcha Say" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming DeRulo's first number-one hit in the United States. The single charted high in Canada and the UK as well, becoming a top three hit. "Whatcha Say" has sold over 2 million digital copies in the US, gaining an RIAA certification of 2x Platinum in the US. It has also been RIANZ certified Gold in New Zealand.
