"no, no, no, no, no,no, don't you cry." but I cant help but to cry. Janis' pain in her blues songs like this one just makes me cry. My beautiful mum used to sing this song to me as a child. i recently lost my dad and then my mum just four months later so I find soulful comfort in Janis' music and I "ride out" my Blues with her, or with her music I should say. I love her other songs and covers I can just hear her "Pain" in her tone and voice when she sings can just feeeeeel it. I Luv her many songs, one of which "Turtle Blues" and my favorite with the words?? "sittin at the window watching the rain against the 'pain' " great which song was that now of hers??? ball n chain?
