I think I may have been to this concert! Raw and beautiful, like I was at the age of 17, 18 and 19. and I think I remember this outfit Janis has on. and this had always been my favorite song from the Holding Co.

Big Brother And The Holding Company were one of the, if not the best unknown rock bands of all time. They were not appreciated enough or got the fame that Janis got. They played great blues, soul and rock to make her sound as good as she did. Unfortunately she died too young. Her flame was powerful but burned out fast. Great to see the live videos like this.
