Carly always had performance anxiety. She used to stutter when she spoke, so she sang instead. Even though their voices work together, it is definitely not a friendly relationship.

There was already a strain in their relationship when they recorded this song...their is musical harmony but love is hardly felt. I believe they are good friends now (well, after reading "Fire and Rain", a JT biography. Great musical talents though...legends!!!
