The guitar parts remind me of Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged, the song "Brother", in particular

You fucking retard he made alot more songs than this one. And he writes all of his songs. This band is what got staind founded. This song and outside don't have the exact same lyric as the staind version. Aaron lewis is a genius a writing song and was probably doing it way before he was in a band

I don't understand how people got pissed when Aaron went into country, he's always had that sound

love it, fascinating how after you discover a person you like what they did before you knew of them... lesson learned. BE WHO YOU ARE AND DONT CHANGE (UNLESS YOUR AN ASSHOLE)

No Mike Tyson has the best voice. Imagine him singing this song and how much better it would be.

Yeah I love their new album, Tormented, dysfunction, & BTC were the very best. But at least they ain't still doing Illusion of progress type stuff. I like that album don't get me wrong, but it wasn't the best of Staind. If Staind took a trip back to their older stuff I'd love it, but it still wouldn't be the same right?

Yep, he's my favorite singer of the 90's, & now!

@JLA12301985 Yeah, they are. I just wondered if you listened to the new one, since it's a little edgier and more aggressive like the older albums you like, even though it's still completely different in some ways. Aaron's emotion has always helped fuel the music, and he does have little sad or angry emotions these days to base the music (being a husband/father and happier man like you were saying). But yeah, Staind's more well known for the riffs. I just thought it was cool that they were able

I like the latest album, but I love Mike's guitar riffs, the solos are good yes. But Staind is known more for the guitar riffs.

Yeah, I know. lol. What about the newest album, though? They tried to make a more aggressive, heavy record. I thought they did a good job, & Mike actually had a lot more solos. They were longer & pretty killer. I admit, it still doesn't sound dark enough to sound too much like the old stuff, but it was good to hear more heavy Staind. -Stuff closer to their roots. There's just something about the old stuff, though. I agree. -Something beautiful & absolutely powerful behind the emotion/darkness

yeah he's still got it, but his music ain't as dark & angry, but yet there's nothing for him to be angry about. He's married with 3 daughters, & not he's 40, but his earlier stuff was & is better then the newer stuff hands down lol.
