I saw an ad just recently on the History Channel. It was modern men whistling to this song and during it, there were many who stopped whistling and bowed their heads. Then there was only one left. He finished the song and then bowed his head. The message said "the 16th battalion sung this song even during battle, until they fell". I cried. 100 years since the ANZACS fought on Gallopili... Brave Brave men. R.I.P fellow Aussies and our Mates, the New Zealanders.
