Chris is an Exceptional guitarist and producer, and full-on metalhead with game to spare and satiate the metal masses in need of their fix for kickass tuneage.IonVein live or otherwise is consistent in hurling out track by tasty track. I recommend seeing them, taking the time to head out to see them if possible at the multiple fests they support and promote.It is not easy to take on a beloved Queensryche song and kill it, -but "killin it" is Chris and IonVein's middle name..They have survived a slew of lineup changes over the years, losing one of the best vocalist that brought synchronicity to IonVein's crew(in all the best ways) back in the day when I was first introduced to the band's Iron laden works.Just like the man himself, a developed ear for music can instantly see that there is no need for ego in his playing because it is ALWAYS pristine and true to each song he eventually will unleash to you. He's a classy player, -you know your listening to quality. Hence there really has been no need to churn out anything that wasn't ready to serve up, and serve up he does(they collectively do).I wish them all the luck in the world to find the right balance again as a group, the writing is superb and always on point. So far so good.. I do think they deserve some love back for all the patience and dedication to Metal, and all the support they give as a group and individually to all of Metal, and Progfest.. This particular cover has my humble approval..Hail to the good stuff, Hail to #Geof_Tate and Queensryche for inspiring all of metal, andHail to \,,/ Ionvien \,,/

@tlensen. Todd La Torre still sounds closer to Tate IMHO than Ion Vain. Todd La Torre now belongs to the real Queensryche, and not a cover song like Ion Vain. There's no comparison dude o.k

Nice to hear a cover that stays true to form. Especially a QR cover. It takes genuine talent to pull this off. I have been a QR fan forever and this is the absolute best I have ever heard a QR song covered!
