Carlos, I think despite the loss of Hutch INXS still has the spirit. JD brought that spirit back! The takings at concerts, and the revenue from the albums with INXS and JD are testament to that. People like JD - and Yes - he doesn't replace Hutch .....JD brings his own touch to INXS - I don't think the band were looking to replace him. JD is his own person - and he brings that attribute to the band. Its a great mix. The Irish lad they tried was a loss and SHOULD not be brought into the band.

in my opinion,I think inxs shouldn't have get a new singer,they should have ended right after michael died.no one can ever replace michael hutchence,especially someone like JD Fortune,his voice is not close to the great voice of michael.

@inatl17 If you notice in the album sleeve notes Michael pays special thanks to Mr and Mrs Hewson, Edge and Morleigh so he was obviously spending time with the U2 guys. I agree with most of what you've said and the SWITCH album was excellent end even saw the show in Glasgow but have you seen the Terence Trent D'arby gig with the guys? I thought he was excellent *****

This is one of their best albums, and their last with Michael - as Andrew Farris wrote this was Michaels best singing on this album. Yet the album had poor sales - face it talent isn't the only factor - marketing or dealing with media is. But the 5 remaining members deserve to continue as INXS, the Switch Album was very good, and JD has talent. He's no Michael, but then nobody is and JD is the best singer INXS has worked with since Michael.
