Yeah from the UK but moved stateside a few years ago so I don't have much opportunity to take in any UK or European bands anymore.... As for the bands you mention, yes I remember all of them, all dam fine HC. I think at some point we shared the stage with a few of those bands too! Good days! Well I'm gonna dig around Youtube for some old school HC and check out Frightener! Thanks man

ah you're from the U.K? well Frightener is a pretty awesome UK band from recent years, they too sadly broke up. I remember a bunch of U.K bands, Withdrawn, Evanesce, Slavearc, Unborn, Canaan.

well I wasn't trying to scold you for your comment; and yes actually to a certain degree there is a great deal of bullshit, but surprisingly there are many honorable and impressive outputs by many more recent bands. Pulling Teeth , although now broken up were incredible hardcore of this era, Tragedy were from the ruins of His Hero is Gone, Wolfbrigade are pretty sweet too, Oathbreaker is a newer Belgian band who I saw play a couple of weeks back and they floored me. Actually re-reading my post now seems a little harsh and makes me look a bit dickish, been out of the scene for many years and was just reminiscing, so please forgive me. Your absolutely right tho that I need to get out more lol, I'm sure the HC bands of today are as good as they ever were, if even better! One think that I am right about and something I was not so sure of back then is that 'HC will never die'....you CAN quote me on that tho :)
