God. This band is one of those bands me and my mates all still listen to to this day. I'm 26 years old and have a little family now and me and the lads still love them to death. Primarily a metal fan and Inme are going in a very interesting direction that I very much approve of. Still, can't beat singing/shouting Trenches on a long drive. Love.

i still don't understand why inme aren't huge, all their albums are classics. Dave has one of the best and most distinctive voices in British rock and their sound is so epic and diverse. Criminally underrated.

This is one of my favorite InMe songs, along with: Belief Revival, Neptune, Her Mask, Faster The Chase, Safe In A Room etc. I love this, though will you's ever make anything which sounds a bit like Neptune or Firefly, again?:)

I can really dig your integrity man and I wasn't trying to bash your most recent material. Most of what I have heard has been good. I think when I wrote that original comment I had just listened to your first record so I was probably letting nostalgia cloud my judgement. I was about 15 when Overgrown Eden came out and it brings back some great memories of a simpler time in my life. I will be sure to check out your more recent albums without wearing my nostalgia glasses... haha :)

Each to their own I suppose. It'd be dishonest of us to try & force a sound for nostalgia's sake or because of another's opinion. We'd rather write what comes naturally to us in the now, so to speak. Totally cool if you prefer Overgrown Eden though! The only change in line-up is our bassist Greg. Gazz is an addition to the original line-up.

I can appreciate that you guy's are different people and presumably not the original band, but at the end of the day most people that know the name InMe know it because of overgrown eden. Why not embrace that, chap?!

Overgrown Eden was an album of the time. We're all different people now, influences change, tastes change etc so we won't be going back to that style I'm afraid chap. Onwards and upwards! Next album is a triple album so you can expect some serious variety :)

Their ''old style'' being the kind of music they played on their first album. Although their new stuff is more complex and showcases a higher ability, I was just listening Overgrown Eden and I really think that's their best record so they should try to recapture that sound and energy.

Not quite sure what the "old style" is tbh, every album they release sounds different from all the others.
