i always come back to this recording 1) because it's brilliant and 2) because of 1:44 and dirk's reaction to mike's little arpeggiated chords. it's such a small addition but it adds so much to an already fantastic second verse, and as a drummer in my musical group of friends, acknowledging little improvisational nuances your bandmates put into your songs is one of the most satisfying things a musician can do
