<3 thank you sir you have spoken my mind so perfectly all i can add is that incubus seems to have some grasp of lyrical significance, instead of assuming (as primus seems to) that merely coasting by with omnipresent slap bass, and employing album titles such as "Sailing on the sea of cheese" is sufficient to constitute music... an assumption with which I must respectfully (but firmly, and with a definitively raised eyebrow) disagree. I have to throw it out there I am not the first to point that out. And in terms of vocals, Boyd was heavily influenced by first and foremost Mike Patton, Layne Staley, Anthony Keidis just to name a few. If you know all 3 of these voices you can spot at least one of them in each song off Fungus Amongus.

@WildBillHickums I like a lot of nu metal way more than primus, but I prefere this, which is closer to funk/jazz/metal/fusion to what primus are....which incidentally ... primus sucks!
