All my favourite Incubus tracks have not blown me away on the first listen. They're growers. I would feel initially indifferent to these tracks, hearing them once and then moving on to more accessible songs.But a few days would pass. And I'd get the urge to have another listen. It still wouldn't be amazing, but it would be a BIT better. Only a couple of weeks later when that song was playing in my head constantly would I realise how great it was.After a couple of weeks from my first listen, Absolution Calling is firmly lodged in my head, and I couldn't be happier.

God, I seriously hate those pieces of shit that proclaim this song to be about getting high, or about a fucking trip. Seriously, you do not believe that artists are capable of more intricate lyric compositions then getting high? Ha, fucking pathetic fools that have nothing else going on for them in life. Just fucking overdose and get over with! The links between eastern world religions and this song can not be ignored. Hinduism, for example, contains a lot of what this song is referencing. I'm sure Buddhism would also have ties with the lyrics. If this song was about getting high, it would be a fucking insult to their talent.
