All of you "fans" criticizing them for their sound changing over time... so what?If you were a real fan you would be appreciating their music, no matter what.I've loved in flames since the first album I heard, which was Clayman. They're great, and I love their sound. If a Band never changed their sound they would get extremely repetitive, easily.

So I was updating my music collection, and noticed I stopped updating In Flames at Clayman. I tried to open up and listed to their albums after clayman and its just not right for me (I'm not hating though)The Jester Race in my personal opinion is their best album: Para Krisulibarri.. What the fuck is this shit. Oh my god. The tone... is AWFUL! I expect SO much better than this from In Flames. This album is horrid, it's official. I was hoping that Rusted Nail and Through Oblivion were just the two terrible songs of the album but it looks like the whole thing is shite. Highly do not recommend going from listening Jester's Race to this. Actually do it so you can see how fucking awful they are now. Wtf is with this compressed soft guitar tone!!! It's so weak sounding. I don't care if they don't want to play melodic death metal anymore, Just don't release utterly uninspired bullshit because your label is forcing you.

Am I the only one that prefers Anders to the first singer? They didn't have nearly as much melody in the old stuff and it sounded like generic death metal to me. With Anders they stand out more and have their own unique thing going on it seems.

I love you In Flames, I always will. I just have to say I miss old school heavy in flames. Dark heavy melodic riffs and classic from-the-soul Anders screams.
