I recently acquired the Roland TD30; it's quite incredible! The track has been recorded live into pro-tools which was a relatively easy process compared to recording with my acoustic kit. I have been amazed at how responsive these drums are, especially the kick when using a double pedal.

The inspiration came from Thomas Lang at his drumming boot camp. If you get a chance to attend one, it is well worth it. His concepts have really had an impact on my drumming (although fixing 15 year old habits can prove quite a challenge.)
