Los Angeles voice actor Jeff McNeal pays tribute once more to the great voice of Ronnie Hammond, lead vocalist of the Atlanta Rhythm Section, silenced today, at the age of of 60 reportedly from heart failure. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and fans. Hope I've been able to do justice to his memory. From everything I read about him today, he sounded like he was a really, really great guy. Humble and beloved by all who knew him. R.I.P. Ronnie. Rock and Roll Heaven just got a lot smoother.

Good job Jeff. ARS, what a great group. They deserved more then they received in the industry. Seen them more times then I can count while living in Chicago in the 70's. Seen them once with the great ZZ Top and they clearly held their own with nooooo problem. Ronnie was a wonderful vocalist and what a big loss to the music industry his loss is.
