I love John Prine. Just discovered him within the last year or so.He's also turned into a really adorable looking old guy, reminds me of Droopy the dog, or something, lol.

Sorry, musicherb. Did not pick up on sarcasm. Also, missed the (jk). JP's been one of my top 2/3 singer/songwriters (Kristofferson, Dylan) since 1st album in 1971. We both were born in 46. He was drafted in 66 but my name or letter wasn't drawn. Have degrees from UNC and NC State. Took Summer courses from Duke's School of business so no pathetic excuse for a brain.

you IDIOT - its called sarcasm! i thought the (jk) would clear that up even for the morons but even that apparently didn't register with the pathetic excuse you have for a brain!

musiccherb, I started listening to Prine in 1960's,He and I were drawn from same fish bowl to be drafted or not. He Was, my brother was - I wasn't. He's not a flash in the pan, you uneducated jerk. He's written more than 300 songs without HS Diploma. Has contributed more before you were born than you will before you die. Become educated or you will sink into oblivion. If you me to interpret, I'll consider it.

All good music, whatever its date, is ageless - as alive and significant today as it was when it was written. What a story teller!!!! GREATNESS
