Sad story, I once had a friend who i liked very much, She didn't know I played piano And i played her this song hoping she would understand that I was talking about her. when i finished she asked who the song was about, I choked up and said it was about a girl I've had feelings for for sometime. I regret not telling her because shes now going out with one of my (used to) Best Friends. I still beat myself up about it, i really liked her and i felt like we connected. but i guess being her friend would be more important then being in a relationship...*deep breath*

George Martin produced this one... The Beatles threw it away, they had too many songs in their heads. Great early Beatle-song by the Fourmost. Second rate Beatle songs are still prime pop.

I guess I should also mention that the confusion between "I'm In Love" and "It's For You" comes from the fact that they're both Lennon-McCartney songs that The Beatles never recorded.

@fishdeschois No, you're mistaken. They covered "It's For You", not "I'm In Love". You may have also been thrown by their song "Find Someone To Love" (on the same album), which repeats the phrase 'I'm in love' in its lyrics.
