Shanice was 14 outsinging or holding her own with grown women. The labels never knew how to market her.  Before you knew it, she was a thing of past because real singing slowing made an exit stage left.  I've always loved Shanice.

I noticed it right away when her 1st album came out! On the cover she has the Janet "Pleasure Principle " hair, her dances are similar, in this video they have a chair dance seen...there was one in the P.P. vid too and the music sounded like Janet's when they had the chairs. Her style was patterned after Janet's.
