Seeing this performed live by Iggy, Homme, Turner etc at The Royal Albert Hall was incredible, the band did it a massive justice; it sounded HEAVY! Just an incredible gig. What a show-man....

Like trying to choose which of your two children you love the most. Bowie and Iggy wrote. As Iggy has said he wouldn't have been around if it hadn't been for Bowie. I love them both (of course) but this version was the first and has the raw power and discordant rhyme that reaches a higher level. Funny thing is that this is the song I wanted to play to remember Bowie.

while I totally appreciate this version, Bowie's version has vastly more laid back, yet driving weight in it's groove, and DB's vocal tone and phrasing is second to none.... I feel sorry for Mr Iggy Pop more than i do for Lou, and David personally, they're at peace, and Iggy's lost his best pals..., it's very sad, these guys were apparently outstanding human beings, as well as true, unapologetic ARTISTS in every sense of the word, the world has lost giants recently 8(

You know the beginning of this original version feels like you're coming in on it in the middle of the song. I think I'm far more used to the way Bowie arranged his version of their song. Bowie's version feels far more polished and complete whereas this version sounds more like a raw demo. Either way the song was theirs to share and record.

Heroin? What the... Iggy is a genius, a true rock icon. His music is classic and still stands as powerful today as when he first recorded his stuff. This is one of his best. His concerts are simply awesome, and so is he. Long live Iggy!
