I grew up in Germany and Icehouse was absolutely huge over there. Its no wonder Icehouse made this song in German. I remember my cousin Chantal (then 16 years old) playing this over and over again in her bedroom.

@euqsabtnatillim yeah same here, and i cant understand why they chose to put uniform as a b side in the first place... it should have been on the A side. do you know why they they chose to use it as a b side? thats somethin thats puzzled me for years....

Well said...they opened a concert in Festival Hall many moons ago with the original line up and an instrumental version of this well before primitive man. I was blown away when I first heard it. I have it somewhere as it went live to air
