The show was great BUT I was VERY dissapointed the whole Primitive Man wasn't played :-( I met Iva afterwards and he was SUCH a gentleman, a TRUE professional!!!

TOTALLY!!!! Sidewalk ALWAYS reminded me of Simple Minds, I met Iva on Monday night and told him that Sidewalk is my favourite track from the Sidewalk album and he was impressed :-) It's MEGA Simple Minds!!!

How can you say this doesn't sound like Simple Minds? I get it... everything influences and is influenced by everything else, but being a HUGE SIMPLE MINDS FAN I gotta call bullshit here... the lyrics and music are totally "Sparkle in the rain" era Simple Minds.

yeah, but who copied who?:) sidewalk is perhaps one of the most underappreciated albums, songs like "someone like you" and "mountain song" are pearls in the world of music. and you don't hear much simple minds there. in fact, you don't recall any other artist, really. it's very original.
