Eh Kevin, this song was done live on tv many years ago. Iva Davies was brilliant. If you can `` do yourself a favour", and check it out , You will love it. Maybe ABC, but I'm positive this was on nine network. However the live version is one of the best live on tv songs in Australian tv I have seen and heard.

The instrument Iva is playing in this music video is an oboe d'amore. It is pitched a minor third lower than a standard oboe (which is pitched in C), meaning it is in A. The oboe d'amore is also slightly larger/longer. The lowest note a standard oboe can produce is a Bb below middle C and can't go any lower than that. To the human ear, the lowest note on an oboe d'amore sounds like a concert A below middle C, but it is in fact the instrument's middle C. The cor anglais is the next instrument which is pitched in F, and is bigger again and produces a lower pitched sound than the oboe d'amore. Not much is known about the oboe d'amore, but it does exist. It is the mezzo-soprano of the oboe family.
