This video is quite a chuckle- it absolutely SCREAMS 80's. If you watch very closely, toward the end of the video you'll see Iva roll his eyes at the absurdity of it all. But this was the kind of glam-rock, New Romantic, Thin White Duke style that was all the rage back in the early 80's.(thanks, David Bowie) I don't doubt they were probably trying to pigeonhole Icehouse into that genre. "Glam" was Iva's cheeky way of thumbing his nose at them- beautifully, might I add!

Great song from Mr. Davies. Both the video and song appear to be tributes to contemporary New Romantic icons of the early 80's, such as Steve Strange and Visage, David Sylvian and Japan, Adam Ant, Gary Numan, John Foxx, and, of course, Bryan Ferry. Most fans are no doubt very familiar with these artists and their influence upon Icehouse's music.

Iva's totally ravishing and delicious (then and now). No reason to be shy about experiencing different avenues of artistic expression or just plain old having a good time dressing up as many of of us do. Holy ****, Iva, this girl is about to faint looking at you.

@triciaXnoir Wellll on the "White Heat" DVD they have "Glam", but they've stylised the song so you can't really see Iva properly lol! So maybe he was a bit?! XD
