After drumming in The Coral for over a decade the British singer/ songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and visual artist has now recorded his first solo LP. The music combines influences from the spiritual side of psychedelia and emulates the techniques of 60′s and 70′s recording.

To echo one of the comments below, wouldn't it be great if 2013 saw more bands move in this direction. That said, this stuff is in the blood of The Coral so maybe reinventing and producing this beautiful dreamy psych should be left to those for whom it is not a new direction. Being a vinyl man, I bought the LP (limited to 300 copies... tasty).
